All Workshop participants are eligible for this award named in honor of Greta Weatherill, dance leader in education, who passed away in 1989. Her passing was a loss to her family and also to dance educators throughout California.  Greta and Kathi Gallagher conceived and founded the Dance and Movement Workshop in 1975.

The award may be used for:

1. Seed money for dance projects in the community;
2. Furthering ones dance education;
3. Defraying expense for dance productions;
4. Research in dance;
5. Payment for master teachers, etc.

These are suggestions only, and applicants are encouraged to adapt ideas according to individual needs.

This year the Award is $500.00
